Privacy policy

The website streamterrain.com and the STREAM Terrain software are provided by Mehmet Akyüz (STREAM). For anything about your data, write to info@streamterrain.com.

Page counter: when a page opens, your browser sends the page address and the address you came from to our own server (lisans.streamterrain.com). The server records the time, those two addresses, a visitor code, the device class (desktop, mobile or tablet) and the country. The visitor code is a one-way, salted hash of your IP address and browser identifier; the IP address itself is not stored in this record. Requests from crawlers are not recorded. No cookie is set.

Language suggestion: if the site offers your language and you dismiss or accept it, that choice is kept in your browser's local storage so the offer does not repeat. It is never sent to us.

Fonts: the page fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page opens.

Videos: product videos load from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. Until then no request goes to YouTube.

Downloads: the download link passes through our server, which counts downloads per version before sending you to the file.

Google Analytics: the site uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. Until you choose Accept in the consent banner, no analytics cookie is set; advertising features are never enabled. If you accept, Google sets its analytics cookies (such as _ga) and receives page views and device information. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Survey data never leaves your computer. DEMs, orthophotos, point clouds, drawings and project files are opened and processed locally; the software has no upload function.

Licence traffic: activating, signing in and the periodic licence check send the licence identifier, a one-way device hash, one-way hardware signal hashes, the signed licence token and a tamper flag — plus your e-mail address and password at the moment you sign in or activate. The software also asks our server whether a newer version exists. The full list, field by field, is on the data security page.

An account holds your e-mail address, your password stored only as an argon2id hash, your licence and the devices it is activated on. You can see and remove devices in the account panel. To have the account deleted, write to info@streamterrain.com from the account's e-mail address.

We do not sell personal data, do not use advertising networks and do not build advertising profiles. The only third party that receives website usage data is Google, for Google Analytics, and only after you accept it. E-mail is used only for your account (verification, password reset, invitations you request) and for answering you.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use, by writing to info@streamterrain.com. Turkish data protection law (KVKK) applies; your rights under the law of your own country are unaffected.
