END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Terms of use (EULA)
Agreement version: 1.1 · 2026-08-22
These are the terms the installer shows before installation. In short: the beta is free, everything you produce with it is yours to use commercially, your data stays yours, and engineering results must be checked by a qualified engineer before they are relied on.
1. Acceptance
This Agreement is between you and the Licensor. By installing, copying or using the STREAM software (the "Software") you accept these terms.
2. License grant
The Software is currently provided free of charge, for evaluation and use. The Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to USE the Software according to the type and term of the license you are using. Ownership of the Software remains with the Licensor; a license is not a transfer of ownership. Activation may be bound to a specific device; contact the Licensor to move a license.
3. You may
(a) Install and use the Software on the licensed number of devices. (b) Use every output you produce (maps, reports, volumes, DXF / LandXML / KMZ exports and so on) commercially without restriction; the Licensor claims no rights in your output. (c) Keep one backup copy of the installer.
4. You may not
(a) Sell, rent, lend, sublicense or distribute the Software. (b) Disable, circumvent or crack the licensing/activation mechanism, or forge licenses. (c) Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the closed-source parts of the Software, subject to Section 5. (d) Remove any copyright, trademark or license notice.
5. Third-party open-source components — carve-out (important)
The Software includes third-party open-source components distributed under their own licenses. The complete list and the full license texts are in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the installation folder.
For those components — in particular the LGPL- and MPL-licensed ones (Qt 6, GEOS, libiconv, SpatiaLite, FreeXL, CDT): the modification and reverse-engineering restrictions in Sections 4(c) and 4(d) DO NOT APPLY. Those components are governed by their own licenses, and this Agreement does not limit the rights granted there.
You MAY replace them with your own compatible builds. They ship as separate .dll files next to the application, and the Software applies no integrity lock that would prevent replacement (the relinking right under LGPLv3 § 4 and LGPL 2.1 § 6).
Information on obtaining their source code is in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt; the Licensor will provide a source copy on request.
6. Your data
Data you load into the Software (DEM, orthophoto, point cloud, DXF, project files) remains yours. The Licensor does not access, copy or transmit it. Only technical data such as the license key and a device fingerprint is transmitted, and only for license validation.
7. No warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. As the Software is provided free of charge, no maintenance, updates or support are promised.
8. Engineering output — specific notice
Volumes, slopes, benches, earthwork quantities, hydrology, solar and block-model results depend on the accuracy of YOUR input data and on the parameters you choose, and are ADVISORY ONLY. They must not be relied upon for construction, tender, payment, permitting or safety decisions without review and approval by a qualified engineer. Verifying and using the output is entirely the user's responsibility.
9. Limitation of liability
Because the Software is provided free of charge, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law the Licensor is not liable for any direct, indirect or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data or downtime. Liability that cannot be limited by law is unaffected.
10. Term and termination
The license ends when its term expires or if you materially breach this Agreement. On termination you must uninstall the Software; you may keep using output you already produced (Section 3(b)).
11. Updates
Updates are subject to this Agreement. If a new version comes with materially different terms, those terms are shown before installation.
12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
