Tip: lost? HOME ▸ SELECTION ▸ Fit frames everything on screen.

If the terrain feels slow

STREAM draws the terrain on the graphics card and selects the high-performance card by itself at every start. If the terrain is slower than expected, update the graphics driver from the vendor site, plug the laptop in (cards are throttled on battery) and open Help ▸ Performance Diagnostics to see which card is in use.

STREAM needs at least 1536 × 824 usable pixels after Windows display scaling — for example a 1920 × 1080 screen at 125 percent. At a higher scale the window may not fit: the program says so at start-up. Lower the Windows display scale or use a higher-resolution screen.
